Cougar Mountain Montessori offers year-round enrollment opportunities. Enrollment for the following school year begins in January.
The Enrollment Process
Thank you for your interest in Cougar Mountain Montessori! We look forward to sharing our program with your family. We want our parents to become familiar with Cougar Mountain Montessori and Montessori philosophy during the enrollment process.
Briefly, our enrollment process is:
1. | Complete the Request for Enrollment Information Form and fax or e-mail it to the school. This form helps us learn a little about your child and understand the type of enrollment you desire. (half-day, full-day, etc.) Fax: 425-289-0000, email: cmmontessori@msn.com |
2. | Schedule a school tour or attend an Open House, which are held in January and February each year. An Enrollment Packet is available for a refundable deposit of $20. Your deposit will be refunded when you return the packet or applied to your registration fee when you enroll. |
| | Please review our Observation Guidelines before visiting our classrooms. We want to ensure our children are interrupted as little as possible during enrollment visits. |
3. | To reserve your child's space in class (or be placed on the wait list), complete the Application for Enrollment Form and return it with the annual Registration Fee. |
| 4. | Upon receipt, Cougar Mountain Montessori will confirm enrollment and class placement. |
5. | Sign and return the Parent School Contract and remaining paperwork. See the Enrollment Checklist for additional details. |
Child should be Potty-Trained
Our definition of “potty trained” is: the child knows when to go to the bathroom and acts immediately or when prompted to go by the teacher.
Admitting a child that is not potty trained is done at the discretion of Cougar Mountain Montessori and is decided on a case-by-case basis. If a child seems ready to attend CMM, and is not yet potty trained, we charge a "potty assistance" fee until potty training is complete.
